THE PROJECT
The MAIN AIM of the project is to provide permanent and free access to an online learning opportunity (Project Portal-MOOC) mainly addressed to trainers, volunteers and staff working in day care centres for dependent elderly people or nursing homes (nurses, support workers, physiotherapists, speech therapists). BEST PRACTICES: A collection of web resources to facilitate learning about the basics of the internet, the use of smartphones and computer technology in self-education aimed mainly at elderly people; a collection of apps with "games" to stimulate cognitive functions and programmes to encourage physical activity.
